Technetix has joined the NCTA as a new member of the association. In conjunction with its new membership, Sandy Howe, Technetix executive vice president and president, Americas, has been appointed Associate Director on the NCTA board.

"It wonderful to welcome such an innovative and forward-thinking company like Technetix to our association," said Michael Powell, president & CEO, NCTA. "I am especially happy to welcome Sandy to NCTA's board. Her technical expertise and track record of building strategic relationships will serve as a great addition to our organization, and I look forward to working with her."

At Technetix, Howe is responsible for all functions for the United States, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean, including sales, customer service, product management, finance, HR, operations and regional marketing. She is a member of the core executive team, helping to drive Technetix's global strategic objective to deliver innovative solutions for cable operators worldwide.

"At Technetix, we work alongside cable operators every day to provide the most advanced technology possible to make networks perform better and faster. So it was a natural journey for the company to be a part of NCTA. I appreciate the opportunity to join NCTA's board and engage on the important policy issues facing the industry," said Howe.

With 25 years' experience in the global telecommunications, video and media technology markets, Howe previously held several positions at ARRIS, Cisco and Broadband Networks Inc. (now Numerex).
