The theme for this year's SCTE Cable-Tec Expo (Sept. 19-22) in Philadelphia is “Creating Infinite Possibilities,” and in keeping with that theme, the consortium welcomes Chef Robert Irvine of the Food Network's hit show “Restaurant: Impossible,” as its keynote speaker at the annual SCTE Awards Luncheon.

For twenty seasons, Chef Irvine, as host of "Restaurant: Impossible," has been working with restaurants across America that are facing impending demise. On the show, with a limited budget and two days to work, he uses his creativity and resourcefulness to turn around a given eatery's fortunes.

As noted by SCTE, as a Comcast Business partner of ten years, Irvine knows the transformational role the right technology plays in powering enterprise possibilities.

Per an SCTE press release, "That is what makes [Irvine] uniquely suited to shared advice and true accounts from his vast and diversified experience with this year's [SCTE] award winners, and [to] answer the question: "When things seem impossible...what do you do?"

SCTE Cable-Tec Expo has been known globally for close to four decades as the preeminent venue for for thought leadership, engineering innovation, and pioneering business insights in the broadband cable and telecommunications technology sphere.

This year's in-person Expo will reunite thousands of technology professionals and thought leaders, and hundreds of innovative vendors for over 100 hours of learning, and a firsthand look at leading-edge broadband technologies.
