VeEX has launched its WX150 WiFi Air Expert test set. Based on its MTTplus-900 module for the MTTplus platform, VeEX's WX150 provides the same WiFi test functionalities as the MTTplus-900 module in a compact, standalone test set.

With up to 8 hours of continuous operation on a full battery charge, the WX150 is intended for comprehensive site surveys and to remove the need to carry multiple specialized pieces of test equipment. It supports wireless standards 802.11 a, b, g, n, ac and 3x3:3 MIMO channels and features both WiFi and wired Ethernet interfaces as well as a dedicated spectrum analyzer. The Air Expert test set is designed to cover all aspects of the installation and maintenance processes, from RF network discovery, passive and active site survey, to troubleshooting and traffic load performance testing.

The WX150, along with the WiFi Air Expert series of products, is on display at the WI-FI NOW conference in Redwood City, CA.
