Moto BelairMotorola Mobility announced an agreement with BelAir Networks to deliver its WiFi portfolio to cable operators worldwide. With the agreement, Motorola will gain access to BelAir Networks' portfolio of WiFi access points, picocellular technology and WiFi network provisioning and management solutions.

The new Motorola Cable WiFi portfolio is designed to be deployed in strand mount, pedestal and underground locations and to support 802.11n and 3x3 MIMO standards-based beam forming. Motorola's Cable WiFi portfolio now includes access to the entire BelAir portfolio, with initial focus on the CW100SNE for cable network applications, the CW20E for indoor applications, CW20EO solution designed for outdoor wireless mesh applications and CWView, an advanced provisioning and management tool supporting the complete Motorola Cable WiFi portfolio.
