Charter Communications (NASDAQ:CHTR) has launched its multiscreen Spectrum TV App. It's designed to provide a unified video experience on computers, mobile and connected devices. The app provides access to up to 300 live channels and 25,000 free and subscription VOD titles anywhere in the home on a variety of platforms, including iOS, Android, Kindle Fire, Roku, Xbox One, Samsung Smart TV and web via www.SpectrumTV.com.

"We're very excited to give all our customers a more robust and consistent Spectrum TV App experience," said Rich DiGeronimo, Charter's executive vice president, products and strategy. "It combines the best features and functions on a single app, giving customers greater flexibility and more content on a growing number of devices."

Customers can browse shows and movies by category or network, Watchlist favorite content, set parental controls and more. Mobile devices can also be used as a remote control.

Spectrum TV customers can download the app at no cost. A WiFi connection and username and password are required. Available content, channels and offerings vary by market and depend on the customer's video subscription package.
