RGB, BlackArrow Team on ESAM

RGB Networks and BlackArrow have teamed up on standards-based multiscreen ad insertion solutions for TV Everywhere services.The joint effort is based on the Event Signaling and Messaging (ESAM) standard for insertion of ads in multiscreen services based on adaptive bitrate (ABR) streaming protocols. Building on the previous SCTE 30/35 digital insertion standards, ESAM is intended to standardize and simplify the multiscreen ad insertion environment.First demonstrated at a CableLabs Interop event in September, the joint solution consists of the BlackArrow Advanced Advertising System and RGB's Ad Insertion for Multiscreen (AIM) solution.
