Adobe Systems announced at IBC that its Adobe Pass service has gained traction since it launched in March. Adobe Pass is designed to enable TV programmers and media companies to validate that customers are entitled to view online content based on their pay TV subscription package. It's designed specifically to support TV Everywhere.

Adobe Pass has been adopted by Fox Networks, Turner Broadcasting (including the CNN app for iPad), Hulu, MTV Networks, Scripps Networks Interactive and AMC Networks. It's also been adopted by such pay TV operators as Comcast, DirecTV, Dish Network, Time Warner Cable, Cox, Verizon, Cablevision, Charter, Suddenlink and others.
