Front Porch Touts Mobile Video Win

Front Porch announced that a top five U.S. cable MSO increased the adoption of its mobile TV application by more than 20% while utilizing the Front Porch Customer Messaging Solution on the operator's WiFi network. The operator has deployed the service for the past 12 months.

Subscribers accessing the Internet with a mobile device via the MSO's hotspots receive branded messages with the operator's logo, welcoming the customer to the network and asking if they would like to download a mobile TV application to enable programming on their iOS phones and tablets. In this case, the operator has chosen to offer the download as a retention tool at no cost.
