Concurrent (NASDAQ:CCUR) has been awarded a U.S. Patent for a method of creating consumer user interfaces for TV, PC, web and mobile video services. U.S. Patent No. 8,763,044, "Method, Apparatus, and System for Preparing Images for Integration and Combining Images into an Integrated Image," defines a process for assembling portions of multiple images to form a new image.

The portions, which may be taken from video clips, still images, advertisements, or other images, are combined to create a new integrated image. The new integrated image can be used to generate user interfaces for TV and multiscreen video applications such as network-based DVR, VOD, and live broadcast TV.
