Breezeline launching mobile service in 13 states

The service will be available to the company’s broadband internet customers.

The broadband internet, TV, and voice services provider Breezeline announced on March 14 that, starting in spring 2024, it will introduce mobile phone service in all of its service areas: Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Frank van der Post, president of Breezeline, said in a press release, “Customers will now have a new choice for affordable, high-performance mobile connectivity, with reliable national coverage and a superior customer experience.”

The mobile service, which will be available to Breezeline’s internet customers, will include unlimited nationwide talk and text and will be offered in both by-the-gig or unlimited data plans. Mobile operations will be launched through the National Content & Technology Cooperative’s (NCTC’s) mobile virtual network operator agreement.

Heather McCallion, Breezeline’s vice president of new business and business transformation, said in the press release, “We are deploying our services on a robust, industry-leading mobile network with unique customization options that will allow customers to mix and match unlimited and by-the-gig plans. Breezeline Mobile will meet a critical need for affordable, high-performance mobile service with bundled savings for Breezeline customers.”
