Rogers Taps BlackArrow for Advanced Ads

Rogers Communications is deploying BlackArrow's SCTE 130-compliant Advanced Advertising System to create an advertising marketplace for VOD services in Canada. Rogers is using the system to dynamically insert pre-, post-, and mid-roll ads into Rogers On Demand programming. Rogers' Dynamic Ad Insertion rollout began earlier this year and is scheduled to be implemented across additional Rogers cable markets later this year.

The deployment includes BlackArrow's Placement Opportunity Information Service (POIS), Ad Decision Server (ADS), Playlist Engine and Content Information Service (CIS).
