Agama Technologies is launching Agama 360 Analytics. The solution for analytics and visualization aimed at OTT video service providers will be presented at IBC2018 in Amsterdam.

The solution is intended to offer real-time analytics and visualization of massive amounts of data gathered from video delivery networks and devices to find the root cause of a problem in complex delivery chains.

Agama 360 Analytics has its core in the company's video monitoring, assurance and analytics platform. With service performance data from active and passive probes, as well as real-time subscriber telemetry, the platform is designed to provide a complete view of service performance and customer experience end-to-end.

"We are proud to introduce Agama 360 Analytics with its unique visualization and analytics capabilities, enabling a deepened customer understanding," said Johan Gorsjo, director of product management at Agama. "Providing customer experience and service performance insights is in our DNA, and in today's fast-moving video market, it is more crucial than ever to get the right insights at the right time to be able to exceed customer expectations."

Agama 360 Analytics is designed to correlate and visualize every stream flow across the headend, CDN, ISP and subscriber devices, pinpointing where in the chain issues are occurring. Agama 360 Analytics uses real-time data cube technology to track, analyze and visualize integrated data sets in real time.

In other Agama news, the company has partnered with THEO Technologies to integrate the THEOplayer universal video player with Agama's OTT service assurance solution.

"With Agama, THEOplayer's universal video player integrates with a skilled partner in the monitoring, assurance and analytics part of the video delivery infrastructure," said Pieter-Jan Speelmans, CTO at THEO Technologies. "As OTT and streaming media companies today require total control of the whole delivery chain, this partnership ensures a high-quality viewing experience on a wide variety of connected devices."
