Spanish Fork Community Network (SFCN) in Utah is powering its video services with Espial's (TSX:ESP) Elevate Cloud software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution. The deployment is intended to ensure predictable costs and delivery for SFCN, and enable the operator to provide Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Alexa voice control.

"Today's television viewers want a next-generation user experience, and the Elevate Cloud empowers us to meet that demand," said John Bowcut, director at SFCN. "With Elevate, we can deliver a rich and immersive branded video experience to consumers across all devices, including set-top boxes, tablets and smartphones. Elevate is built on a cloud architecture that will make supporting new devices and features in the future a breeze."

"The Elevate community is gaining momentum with the recent addition of SFCN and other leading operators," said Matt James, vice president of North America sales at Espial. "What sets Elevate Cloud apart from the competition is an award-winning user experience, proven roadmap and delivery of next-generation TV on any network at web speed and scale. We look forward to helping SFCN continue enhancing its video experience."

SFCN provides video, broadband and voice services in north central Utah and is part of the Provo-Orem metropolitan statistical area.

Elevate Cloud was introduced at IBC2017 in Amsterdam. Recent deployments include Clear Creek Communications, Summit Broadband, Hiawatha Broadband and MCTV.
