Netflix Reaches 30 Million Members

Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) says it now has more than 30 million members globally, including more than 25 million in the United States. Netflix reached 10 million members in 2009 and 20 million by the end of 2010.The company attributes its recent expansion to growth in U.S. and Canadian streaming subscribers as well as the introduction of the Netflix "watch instantly" service to new markets in Latin America and Europe. Netflix is currently available in 51 countries, with Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland the most recent additions.
