At the NAB Show in Las Vegas, V-Nova will stage a number of live demonstrations of its PERSEUS video compression solutions, including the U.S. debut of a PERSEUS powered P.Link 4K video contribution solution and PERSEUS software development kit (SDK) for IPTV and OTT delivery.
The company will also highlight its collaborations with other vendors, including:
- Elber - A platform for UltraHD/4K video contribution, HD backhaul and IP remote production
- Imagine Communications - PERSEUS integration within the Zenium workflow management platform for broadcast and VOD encoding
- Nokia - OTT and IPTV distribution solution powered by PERSEUS
- VisualOn - PERSEUS integration and availability as part of the OnStream MediaPlayer+ SDK and as a deployed service in a bandwidth constrained environment
V-Nova PERSEUS is a video processing technology designed to increase the capacity of existing networks by enabling operators and service providers to provide both linear and non-linear UltraHD at HD bitrates on large screen TVs, HD at SD bitrates on legacy set-top boxes and mobile devices, and SD at audio rates over mobile networks.
