CableLabs has added four new companies to its membership: GCable and Henan Cable in China, and Nowo in Portugal) and Stofa in Denmark. The four new members bring CableLabs operator membership to 59 companies on five continents and representing more than 180 million video subscribers worldwide.

Guangdong Cable Network (Gcable) serves 13 million video subscribers and 1.7 million broadband subscribers in Guangdong Province in southeast China.

Henan Cable serves 11 million video subscribers and 400,000 broadband subscribers in Henan Province.

Nowo provides cable service in Portugal to 172,000 TV subscribers and 144,000 broadband subscribers.

Stofa provides fixed and mobile services to 344,000 video subscribers, 323,000 broadband subscribers, 84,000 digital voice subscribers and 10,000 mobile subscribers.

CableLabs' global goals include:
