Verimatrix recently launched the Verimatrix Secure Cloud, a cloud deployment option intended to equip video service operators with a managed framework for video content security and analytics.

Verimatrix recently launched the Verimatrix Secure Cloud, a cloud deployment option intended to equip video service operators with a managed framework for video content security and analytics. An alternative to on-premises systems and operations, Secure Cloud is supported by the Verimatrix Global Services team and monitored 24/7.

For operators who utilize the company's Verspective, MultiRights OTT Plus and Video Content Authority System (VCAS) solutions, Secure Cloud expands the deployment options available. Designed for fast deployment, Secure Cloud can be reconfigured as necessary.

Secure Cloud is implemented via a customer-dedicated Amazon Web Services (AWS) virtual private cloud environment with private and secure storage for data and assets. In Secure Cloud, VCAS and Verspective software deployments can be video service components, interoperable with encoders and streamers, CDNs and content management systems, and other components of the cloud video ecosystem.

"In order to drive their competitive profile and continued subscriber growth, operators are looking to more flexible deployment strategies for their critical service subsystems - that's why Verimatrix is offering a managed cloud deployment approach," said Steve Oetegenn, Verimatrix president. "Verimatrix Secure Cloud puts operators at ease, knowing that their security and analytics implementations are expertly provisioned and updated by a trusted team, ultimately increasing their own business agility."

Verimatrix will be showcasing the product at IBC 2017 in Amsterdam in September.
