Bundles Booming Despite Costs

According to Strategy Analytics' analysis of residential fixed broadband tariffs of 133 ISPs in 40 countries, bundled packages, in the form of double- and triple-play, are now as prevalent as standalone offers.

The findings also indicate that the average price of bundled broadband, TV and phone service costs consumers an extra $20-25 in purchasing power parity (PPP) per month over the price of unbundled broadband. The average monthly PPP cost for unbundled broadband with a minimum speed of 45 Mbps is $55, while the PPP cost for triple-play services is about $76.
