Newly formed Tempo Communications has purchased Greenlee Communications, a provider of communications test and measurement equipment.

"The strength of its customers, brands, products and people led us to purchase Greenlee Communications and establish Tempo Communications," said Jason Butchko, the new company's president and CEO. "As a privately held company under management ownership, we remain committed to our partners and customers while aggressively expanding our portfolio through innovative, application-driven products manufactured to make the industry safer and more productive."

The former vice president and general manager of Greenlee Communications and CEO of Textron Tools and Test, Butchko is Tempo Communications' president and CEO. John Parizek, former CFO of Tempo Research, is CFO, and David Collmann, current CEO and president of TesCom, is executive vice president (EVP).

"Parizek and Collmann bring a wealth of experience from the telecommunications test industry to the new Tempo," said Butchko. "Together with the rest of our team, we are laser-focused on nimbly delivering the best solutions in the industry at an exceptional value."

During the integration process, Tempo will provide continuity and support to its partners with the goal of minimizing any disruption in its end-users' day-to-day operations. A Tempo rebranding process has begun.
