Data and analytics company 605 has appointed Daniel Berg as chief technology officer. Berg will be responsible for the ongoing development of technical infrastructure to ingest, warehouse, organize and interact with consumer behavioral data. He will report into co-founder and CEO Kristin Dolan. Berg will also oversee internal IT, cyber security and other elements of 605's product sets.
"I am confident Dan's deep expertise in business strategy, combined with his track record of success in bringing technology services and products from concept to deployment, are exactly what we need to move 605 forward and continue to grow our business," said Dolan. "As a business and technology leader, Dan is adept at aligning technology teams and deliverables with business and revenue goals. His background in financial services technology with its deep foundation in enterprise IT process, data security, data management, analysis and aggregation - as well as his understanding of operations, marketing and business development - will make him a valuable addition to our team."
Prior to joining 605, Berg served as an independent strategic technology consultant. He has previously held senior management positions at technology companies such as Rockit Solutions and First Reserve.
605 was founded by former Cablevision executives after that company was bought by Altice.
