At the NCTC Winter Educational Conference in Phoenix, AirTies Wireless Networks is highlighting its in-home WiFi systems for operators. Booth displays will include:
  • An approach to upgrading existing 2.4 GHz WiFi gateways using the company's Air 4920 to access WiFi in the 5 GHz range
  • Client Steering technology to connect laptops, tablets, mobile phones, and other devices to the best WiFi frequency/channel (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz), based on actual network conditions in the home
  • Intelligent Networking designed to coordinate and optimize performance across APs
  • WiFi Mesh system, which is designed to create alternate data paths and wireless links between multiple APs placed around the home
