At the NAB Show in Las Vegas, ZoneTV and ActiveVideo announced that ZoneTV's Dynamic Channels made-for-digital video content can be delivered directly to existing pay TV set-top boxes using cloud virtualization from ActiveVideo.

Using ActiveVideo CloudTV StreamCast, ZoneTV's lineup of more than 20 free and premium channels can be integrated into pay TV program guides, so consumers can view ZoneTV content without changing television inputs or remote controls.

ActiveVideo CloudTV StreamCast uses cloud virtualization to provide access to new content libraries for pay TV operators, and to pay TV subscribers for online video providers. StreamCast is designed to bridge the DRM and video format gaps between online and pay TV operators in the cloud. The content and the user interface are delivered as a single interactive MPEG or H.264 video stream via the pay TV network.

ZoneTV's services are carried by numerous U.S. and Canadian pay TV service providers.
