Entone is unveiling its Magi Hybrid CATV Media Gateway at Cable-Tec Expo this week. Magi, powered by the company's Fusion TV solution, is designed to enables cable operators to deliver an integrated hybrid TV service that combines live TV, DVR and cloud-based OTT services over analog, digital or hybrid cable systems.Magi is a hybrid DVR designed to be integrated with existing cable headend to support a hybrid of analog and digital video delivery systems. It features multiple tuners and DVR options, as well as CableCARD support, an integrated DOCSIS 3.0 modem, and MoCA and WiFi support. It provides automatic configuration and remote administration via TR-069.
