EchoStar Slims Down for ANGA

In its first appearance at ANGA Cable in Cologne, Germany, EchoStar (NASDAQ:SATS) will showcase a variety of connected device solutions with a focus on IP connectivity. Solutions for pay TV operators will be featured alongside EchoStar's retail product range, which includes the Slingbox suite of TV Anywhere products and EchoStar branded digital set-top boxes (STBs).Recently launched on the UK's Freeview+ HD platform, EchoStar's Ultra Slim Box digital TV recorder is only 14 mm deep, but includes a 500 GB hard disk drive, twin tuner, HDMI connection and Internet connectivity for accessing over-the-top (OTT) content.Other showcased products will include an Android-powered set-top box, cable gateway, TV Anywhere via Sling, and a range of cable-connected devices including set-tops and DVRs.
