Westman Communications Group, which operates cable systems in 36 communities throughout Western Manitoba, Canada, is deploying the Hitron Technologies' CGNM-2250 DOCSIS 3.0 WiFi Gateway. The gateway is designed to provide data throughput rates of up to 960 Mbps with 24 bonded downstream channels over its DOCSIS interface. It also features an integrated four-port Gigabit Ethernet switch and an integrated 3x3 802.11n and 802.11ac dual-band MIMO access point.
