Evolution Liberty 300x180Evolution Digital demonstrated its Liberty HD uDTA Wall Plate Device at Cable-Tec Expo last week. It's designed for semi-permanent installation and affixes to the wall, in place of standard F81 coax wall plates.

The Liberty is designed to be HD/SD MPEG-4/2, Motorola and Cisco compliant, and also to support RF4CE remote control technology, so it can be hidden behind TV stands or bookcases, out of site of the subscriber. It also allows various devices, such as cable modems and PVRs, to be connected through a bypass port.
