Speed increases include:
- Standard HSI is moving from 15 Mbps downstream and 1.5 Mbps upstream to 25 Mbps down/1.5 Mbps up
- Ultra HSI is moving from 60 Mbps down/3 Mbps up to 75 Mbps down/3 Mbps up
- Elite HSI is moving from 100 Mbps down/5 Mbps up to 125 Mbps down/5 Mbps up
"Comporium is always working to improve the quality of our products," said Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Matthew Dosch. "We're dedicated to creating a world-class customer experience, and enhancing our network routinely is a vital part of providing that."
In June, Comporium increased speeds for 40,000 of its customers in neighborhoods served by fiber or by cable modem nodes. Comporium plans to keep the rack rate for its broadband packages the same in 2018.
All Comporium fiber and cable modem customers in Lancaster and York Counties have had their speeds increased over the summer and early fall.
Comporium provides data, video, voice, wireless, smart home systems and advertising services throughout the Carolinas.
