Comcast (www.comcast.com) is hiring 50 new full- and part-time customer service representatives (CSRs) at its call center in Enfield, CT. With the new hires, Comcast will employ nearly 1,500 people across the state of Connecticut. The jobs are attributed to the growing demand for Comcast's XFINITY products and services, in addition to the company's desire to offer its customers superior, local customer service.

"We've been working on several fronts to improve the customer experience," said Jill Stauffer, Vice President of Customer Care for the Western New England Region. "Our new Customer Guarantee is backed by several significant operational changes that are focused on proactively managing our products and systems and giving our employees the most effective tools to help serve our customers. We've invested in our Enfield Call Center with new technology and tools that proactively monitor our network and product performance 24x7 and let us proactively find and fix issues before they impact customers."
