Shenandoah Telecommunications (www.shentel.com) has signed an asset purchase agreement to purchase the cable systems serving the communities of Salem, WV, and Oakland, MD, from Suddenlink Communications (www.suddenlink.com). The systems have approximately 7,000 homes passed. The closing will occur upon receipt of regulatory approvals, which are expected to occur within 90 to 120 days. Waller Capital Partners acted as Shentel's exclusive advisor.
