The IC's output is linear low distortion RF from 48 MHz to 1002 MHz. The chip is intended for 1,550 nm optical wavelength RF analog or digital overlay video receive circuitry employed in xPON FTTP ONT triplexer and quadplexer modules. Its first stage features integrated bias circuitry, and it's optimized for operation from a +12 VDC power supply with power consumption of 1.4 W.

It features <3.0 pA/rtHz equivalent input noise current; +23 dBmV per channel RF output capability; linearity better than -63 dBc CSO and -66 dBc CTB at +23 dBmV RF out per channel (79 NTSC equivalent channels); and 30 dB AGC range.
