TiVo (www.tivo.com) has begun increasing the size of the opt-in panel utilized by its Power||Watch ratings service from 25,000 to 100,000 TiVo households that volunteer to take part in the panel. When completed, the increase is intended to make TiVo's Power||Watch ratings service larger than any comparable offering available in the market today.

The company hopes to provide advertisers, brands and networks with more precise views into the demographic breakout and viewing behavior of the TV audiences most important to them as they create ads and allocate advertising dollars. The company also expects to gain measureable insights for more, smaller brands.
