Pulse (www.pulseeng.com) announces the immediate availability of its point of entry RF filter module for MoCA (www.mocalliance.org) applications. The standalone CX5060 filter passes DOCSIS 3.0 signals, blocks MoCA signals, and provides RFI shielding and surge protection within a weatherproof metal housing. It is used to isolate MoCA service within a single service point and meets SCTE (www.scte.org) standards.

Pass band is from 5 MHz to 1,002 MHz with an impedance of 75 ohms, and the filter provides more than 40 dB of insertion loss in the MoCA frequency band (1,125-2,300 MHz). It is designed to operate from -40 to +85 degrees Celsius. The filter's electrical performance provides significant blockage of MoCA signals generated within a service location from leaking into the cable TV plant.
