Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) has appointed four new vice presidents for its California region. The appointments include Jason Gumbs, vice president of Technical Operations; Jeff Votaw, vice president of Engineering; Kristeen Cominiello, vice president of Sales and Marketing; Marcos Vicente, vice president of Finance and Business Operations.

All vice presidents will be based in the company's Livermore, CA, office and report to John Gauder, regional vice president for California.

Gumbs, the region's new vice president of Technical Operations, will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Comcast California's technical operations. With more than 20 years of industry experience, he has led technical operations, sales and marketing, and customer care teams. Before joining the California team, Gumbs served as the regional vice president of marketing and sales for the Comcast Heartland Region. Before Heartland, he spent 10 years in the Comcast Greater Chicago Region.

Votaw, the region's new vice president of Engineering, will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 500 people in Comcast California's Engineering and Construction organization. Votaw has 35 years of industry experience, most recently serving as the vice president of Technical Operations for Comcast in California. Prior to that, he was the area vice president of Field Operations for Comcast in the Sacramento Valley.

Cominiello is the new vice president of Sales and Marketing and will be responsible for the customer growth of California's residential services. She transitioned to California from Comcast in Oregon/South West Washington, where she served as sales and marketing vice president for the past two years. Kristeen began her career with Comcast in 2001.

Vicente, the region's new vice president of Finance and Business Operations, will be responsible for providing executive-level guidance for all financial reporting and budgeting activities for the California Region. He has more than 17 years of industry experience and most recently was the regional vice president of Finance and Business Operations for the Twin Cities Region.
