Verizon: 200 Bucks for 300 Megs

Verizon (NYSE, NASDAQ:VZ) has officially launched its new FiOS 300 Mbps tier, as well as several other lesser but still speedy offerings. The new FiOS Internet tiers, announced in late May, are named FiOS Quantum and feature download/upload speeds of 50/25, 75/35, 150/65 and 300/65 Mbps. In addition, Verizon will continue to offer its entry-level speed of 15/5 Mbps.

Depending on contracts, standalone pricing for the new speed tiers range from $64.99 to $69.99 per month for 15/5 Mbps; $74.99 to $79.99 for 50/25 Mbps; $84.99 to $89.99 for 75/35 Mbps; $94.99 to $99.99 for 150/65 Mbps; and $204.99 to $209.99 for the 300/65 Mbps tier.
