Joe Matarese, currently VP of ARRIS' on-demand unit, will be heading over to BlackArrow to become that company's new CTO. ARRIS VP of Corporate Communications Alex Swan confirmed the rumored move and said Matarese's replacement at ARRIS has not yet been named. ARRIS and BlackArrow aren't formally partnered, Swan said, but operate complementarily in some of the same ecosystems.
