Mid-Tier Ops to Kick Off Expo Opening Session

Senior technology executives from four small- and mid-size cable operators will discuss the challenges and opportunities facing mid-tier service providers as part of the opening session of SCTE Cable-Tec Expo in October in Orlando, FL."Mid-Size Insights: Challenges and Solutions Faced by Small- to Mid-Size Cable Operators" will feature insights and expertise from Michael Giobbi, CTO of Armstrong Communications; Wade Holmes, vice president of technology for BendBroadband; Joseph D. Jensen, CTO of Buckeye Cablevision; and Kelly Rehm, technical operations manager and general manager of Massillon Cable TV/Clear Picture.The panel, which will be moderated by Ken Wright, principal of Wright Solutions and technology advisor to the NCTC, will be part of an Opening General Session that also will address innovation and diversity within cable's technical workforce. Expo's Opening General Session will be conducted from 8:30 a.m.-noon on Oct. 17.
