The demo will focus on how adding ACS extends the capability of the company's Broadband Command Center to allow service providers to deploy multimedia gateway cable modems. The solution is intended to enable providers not only to manage multimedia gateways, but also to expand service to non-cable systems such as DSL, PON and WiMAX.

The Auto-Configuration Server is designed for advanced IP services using DOCSIS TR-069 gateways and TR-069-enabled customer premises devices. It also enables them to deploy new device types such as SMB VoIP and IPTV, and to provide high-speed data service diagnostics.
