Cox Communications selected Cariden Technologies' MATE as its primary network engineering tool for supporting critical data management functions of day-to-day operations. Cox chose the MATE because of its ability to support planning, engineering and operational workflows with visibility into the network.

Cariden's MATE is being used to analyze and confirm that existing and proposed network designs can withstand a variety of network component failures without causing any impact to client services. It is also being used to provide visibility into the network's MPLS paths and statistics, allowing engineers to understand end-to-end traffic patterns and find unexpected contributors to traffic spikes. It can also report historical traffic patterns across the entire network.
