Aurora is displaying the module at the ANGA Cable Show in Cologne, Germany, this week.

Specifically customized for the region's installed base, Aurora's Digital Return module is specifically designed for Germany's BK architecture. The 5-65 MHz return module for the NC2000 and NC4000 node platforms is designed to support upstream channel bonding with EuroDOCSIS 3.0 services and incorporates Aurora's "2-fer" technology for full segmentation, which supports two independent 5-65 MHz return segments on a single wavelength.

The module features up to two unique RF input channels per digital return transmitter wavelength, up to 15 wavelengths with CWDM, and up to 40 wavelengths with DWDM. Performance is designed to be independent of distance, with reaches of up to 200 km without regeneration. It's also designed to support EuroDOCIS 3.0 services with both 64-QAM and four or more bonded channels, as well as 256-QAM return technology.
