Cobridge Communications announced the launch of its digital phone service in Marshall, TX; New Roads, LA; Shannon Hills and Maumelle, AR; and Harrisonville, MO. Cobridge Voice, the company's new digital service, offers unlimited local and long distance calling to anywhere in the United States. It includes voicemail, caller ID, call blast and other features, all of which users can manage through a dedicated and secure web page.

Cobridge purchased the systems from Charter Communications in October, and deploying phone service is just one step in a series of planned upgrades for them. Cobridge currently offers DVR and HDTV in the systems, but plans on expanding the HD channel line. Future upgrades of other Cobridge systems are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2011.
