Lindsay Fibergateway 300x180Lindsay Broadband announced the newest addition to its line of communication products, the LBOG1000 Series of strand-mounted managed 10/100/1000BASE-T to 1000Base-SX/LX Optical-to-Ethernet Gateways.

The LBOG1000 Series are HFC-powered outdoor hardened optical gateways designed for managed Gigabit Ethernet services off the strand. They're available with pluggable SFP transceivers and WDM single or paired fiber links up to 120 km. Intended for the customer with limited or no closet space, the LBOG1000 Series is designed to eliminate the need for outdoor cabinets and allow for optical backhaul of outdoor networking such as IP security cameras, WiFi, RF, microwave, and picocell radio systems. The management function is designed to enable network administrators to monitor connection status and configure via SNMP agent, Telnet or web browser remotely.

The LBOG1000 can be deployed with Lindsay's outdoor hardened optical CWDM/DWDM multiplexers, OADM, splitters and virtual hubs factory mounted in any manufacturer's FOSC tray.
