The American National Standards Institute has approved four SCTE standards, and the SCTE itself has approved two more.

The four ANSI-approved standards are:



  • ANSI/SCTE 25-3, Hybrid Fiber/Coax Outside Plant Status Monitoring - Power Supply to Transponder Interface Bus (PSTIB) Specification v1.1


  • ANSI/SCTE 38-2, Hybrid Fiber/Coax Outside Plant Status Monitoring SCTE-HMS-ALARMS-MIB Management Information Base (MIB) Definition


  • ANSI/SCTE 110, Hybrid Fiber/Coax Outside Plant Status Monitoring: Alternative Power Supply to Transponder Interface Bus (PSTIB) For HMS Transponders


  • ANSI/SCTE 112, HMS/DOCSIS Transponder for Outside Plant Power Supply




The two SCTE-approved standards are:



  • SCTE 13 2011, Dielectric Air Leakage Test Method For Trunk, Feeder and Distribution Coaxial Cable


  • SCTE 101 2011, "Mainline" Splice Connector Return Loss
