The MUL-OTC-RPR is intended for use in optical headends in RFoG FTTH and other fiber-based data, video and voice networks, including Broadband Stimulus and FCC National Broadband applications. The module's features include two optical receivers in one module, input wavelengths of 1,100 to 1,620nm, and input sensitivity from -12 dBm to -27 dBm. Also included is remote management by SNMP, software-controlled attenuation from 0 to 30 dB, low power consumption, and module hot-swap capability.
The companion MUL-OTC-14 chassis provides 14 growth slots in a 4 RU height, with hot-swappable redundant power/fans/modules, SNMP remote management, and a local display with management interface.
