The Georgia Institute of Technology College of Management and the SCTE announced the creation of a program intended to advance the practical management skills of high-potential, mid-level cable engineering and operations managers.

The program, the newest resource in the growing SCTE Leadership Institute, is designed to develop the strategic and tactical skills needed to succeed within corporate environments, plan and execute projects and manage in-house and external resources. The program is designed to complement the SCTE-Tuck Executive Leadership Program at Dartmouth College, which focuses on top-level executives.

Scheduled to debut May 7-11, the SCTE-Georgia Tech program is a one-week course that will be conducted annually on Georgia Tech's Atlanta campus. More information is available at http://www.scte.org/professional_development/scte_georgia_tech_management_development_program.aspx.
