The company's Video Multiprocessing Gateway (VMG) will power the demo, in conjunction with the TransAct Packager adaptive streaming solution.

The demo is designed to simultaneously deliver the same program to a TV, PC, Apple and Android-based tablets and an iPhone. The VMG will transcode an MPEG-2 encoded program into MPEG-4/H.264, and the TransAct Packager will then ingest the programs and create multiple versions of each encoded at different bit rates for different devices, throughput and formats, including Apple HTTP Live Streaming, Microsoft Smooth Streaming and Adobe HTTP Dynamic Streaming.
