Suddenlink Communications has elected to migrate the infrastructure of recently acquired NPG Cable to GENBAND's S3 Session Border Controller (SBC) and A2 Converged Application Server for an end-to-end commercial and residential SIP Services platform, including both end user web portal and voicemail functionality.

Suddenlink already utilizes GENBAND's C20 Converged Softswitch via a geographically survivable telecommunications systems core for delivering IP voice and multimedia content to Suddenlink subscribers. GENBAND is also providing Suddenlink with professional services to support the deployment.
