As part of a national rollout, Comcast launched Internet Essentials, a broadband adoption program, in Atlanta. Available to 317,000 low-income families with children eligible to receive a free lunch under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) in 28 metro-Atlanta area school districts, the program offers discounted Internet service, vouchers for low-cost computers and free digital literacy training.
