The ATSC published an Interim Report on 3DTV and issued a formal request for input from the industry.

The ATSC's Planning Team 1, responsible for analyzing and reporting on the likely benefits and limitations of a standard for terrestrial broadcast delivery of 3DTV, has produced an interim report that provides an initial survey of both existing and in-development technology that could be used to broadcast 3DTV.

The ATSC is soliciting input on additional technology and formats not included in the interim report, including technology that is under development. Responses are requested by April 20.
