Wave Broadband has finalized and signed a 10-year lease to move its corporate headquarters to the new Kirkland Urban development in Kirkland, WA. Wave will occupy three floors and approximately 88,000 square feet within an eight-story building, one of two primary towers slated to be part of the redevelopment.

Wave, which has been based in the adjacent Kirkland Parkplace development since 2003, expects to move into the new headquarters in the spring of 2018. Wave currently occupies approximately 42,000 square feet in its existing headquarters, where approximately 450 of the company's more than 1,300 employees are based. During construction, Wave will continue to operate out of its current headquarters.

Wave has been busy with gigabit Internet launches over the last couple years, including deployments in Portland, OR; Everett, WA; and San Francisco.
