AT&T (NYSE:T) is expanding its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH)-based gigabit Internet service in parts of 40+ cities in 17 metro areas. Pricing starts at $80 a month with a 12-month contract.

  • St. Louis

AT&T's 1 Gbps Internet service (typically actually 940 Mbps) is currently available in 51 metro areas nationwide, and the company plans to reach at least 67 in total.
